HOME REMEDY FOR BAD BREATH

I know bad breath is embarrassing. Many of us suffer from this problem . Now, it’s time to face it. We can face it with the following tips.

download (4)

  • Chewing some Spices and Gum: After eating a good meal, one is advised to chew on certain spices, gum or herbs like fennel, anise seeds and cloves to freshen their breath.

download (2)

  • Avoid some beverages and foods:

Some beverages have been known to increase bad breath. Anyone who wants fresh breath should avoid these beverages. They include drinking too much whisky, wine, beer and coffee. They form plaque on your teeth which finds its way into your intestines thus causing bad breath.

images (7)

  • Avoid certain food items:

Certain foods like cheese, onions garlic and other dairy products have also been known to be causes of bad breath. In order to remedy your bad breath, avoid excessive consumption of these foods when you know you’re going to be talking around a lot of people. I’m hesitant to say stay away from them all together since they are generally good for you in the right moderation.

  • Parsley :

It adds more than green to your lunch plate; it's also a breath-saver, because it contains chlorophyll, a known breath deodorizer. So pick up that sprig garnishing your plate and chew it thoroughly. Or toss a few handfuls (even add some watercress to the mix) in a juicer. Sip the juice anytime you need to refresh your breath.

images (9)

  • If you need 20 minutes of freedom from bad breath, gargling with a mouthwash is a great idea. But like Cinderella's coach-turned-pumpkin, when your time is up, the magic will be gone, and you'll be back to talking from behind your hand again.

  • Even when you can't brush, you can rinse. Take a sip of water after meals, swish it around, and wash the smell of food from your mouth.

Overworked muscles respond well to a cold shower or bath, which eases the damage produced through overuse. After a hard run, icing down muscles may help prevent soreness and stiffness. It is suggested to apply cold packs for about 30 minutes every hour for the first 24 to 72 hours after activity.

b) Rosemary:

To reduce the swelling of strained muscles, a couple of rosemary leaves can help. Fresh and dried rosemary leaves contain four anti-inflammatory properties that can soothe inflamed muscle tissue and speed up the healing process. Soak a cloth in a wash made out of rosemary, which easily absorbs into the skin. Add one ounce of rosemary leaves to a 1-pint jar. Add boiling water to the jar. Cover and let stand for 30 minutes. Use the wash two or three times a day.
